Enhancing Your Golfing Experience
Mastering Golf Course Etiquette
Elevate your golfing adventure by mastering essential etiquette for a fun, safe, and focused environment.
Pace of Play:
- Arrive early – We recommend you arrive at least 20 minutes before your scheduled tee time. This will allow time to check in for golf and be ready for your starting time.
- Plan to be at the first tee at least five minutes before your start time and be ready to play at your scheduled time. Expected pace of play for 18 holes is 3:45-4:00 hours.
- Please keep up with the group ahead of you, but do not push them. If you fall behind by a full hole, be prepared to let the group behind you play through.
Carts & Cart Paths:
To reduce turf damage and ground compaction around greens, please keep power carts 30 yards from the front of greens and on cart paths where available. Carts must stay on the paths at all times on Par 3 holes. Cart Exception Flags are available upon request from the Pro Shop.
Walkers Welcome:
Bemidji Town & Country Club is a great course to walk. Walking is acceptable every day.
Mindful Music:
Feel free to enjoy music, but keep the volume considerate of nearby golfers.
Course Care:
In our commitment to maintaining the pristine beauty of the course and ensuring optimal playing conditions for all golfers, we ask all golfers to follow course care guidelines:
- Repair ball marks on the green
- Replace all divots
- Rake all bunkers and place rakes outside of bunkers
- Soft spikes only, no metal spikes are allowed
We hope you enjoy your golf day, and look forward to hearing your stories after your round in the North Shore Grille.
